TESTIMONIALS

Indeed, Lowell is lucky to have Sue and so are her friends. Family events are forever captured in a candid and natural way. It is wonderful to have pictures of those you love, looking natural and how you see them on a daily basis. I believe this is her special talent. She especially can capture an entire group “looking fine” which is so important at special events. Moreover, she can capture the greatest expressions of children simply letting them be and doing their own thing. It’s always a pleasure to see her work. I can remember the stress of dressing my children to take them to be photographed and coming home worn out , often only to be disappointed with the pictures. This does not happen with Sue. It’s always a fun and exciting experience. I count her as one of Lowell’s finest! - PJ

To those searching for the perfect photographer,
One of the most important decisions to make when planning the perfect event is who will take the photographs. Will all our memories be caught? Will the perfect day be represented through beautiful pictures? Look no further! The answer is yes, if Sue is taking the shot!

As chance would have it, I saw a card for Sue and gave her a call. We were looking for a photographer to take pictures for my parents 55th Anniversary. With eight siblings, many decisions and agreements had to be made. One of the first was having Sue take the pictures for my parent’s special day! It was one of our best decisions!

The day was planned for July 23, 2006. Sue arrived at our special event early and ready to snap pictures! She meet everyone and checked out the surroundings. We were very impressed with her ability to organize our group and take great shots! Her sense of humor unarmed everyone and she captured everyone relaxed and enjoying time with one another. The pictures of my parents were very touching. They are still talking about the day and enjoying their pictures. Were all our memories caught on film? Yes, every one of them! Was the perfect day represented through beautiful pictures? Yes, they were!

Sue will always come with the highest of recommendations from my family and myself. We couldn’t have been happier to have our memories forever caught in time through Sue’s pictures. If we had to do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing!

Sincerely,
Cheryl Tremblay

This year, Lowell National Historical Park has selected Sue Comtois-Peacock to exhibit at the Mogan Cultural Center because of her ability to uniquely capture the multifaceted landscapes of Lowell. As Dr. Patrick J. Mogan, the educator and fountainhead of the National Park idea in the city has stated, Lowellian must not become spectators of their own culture and Sue follows that mantra by sharing her artistic photographic talents with all of us. It is with great pleasure that we welcome Sue to the National Park as a true community contributor.

I first met Sue Peacock at a local spring craft’s fair. Sue’s photographs of Lowell stood out at the fair and her booth attracted the most attention amongst the exhibitors. Her crisp and modern photos of Lowell showcase the timeless beauty of the city’s historical landmarks. While speaking with Sue, she mentioned that she was interested in new opportunities for marketing her work. A few months later in May 2006, as I organized the Friends of Shedd Park (FOSP) silent auction for the fundraiser “the Cotillion at the Pavilion”, I remembered Sue’s interest in further exposure. I asked Sue if she would donate some photography time for our silent auction and at the same time receive some local publicity. Sue generously donated a holiday portrait package and offered to be the photographer for the event. Sue was not deterred by the inclement weather that plagued the outdoor event. The event was a huge success and Sue’s candid photos chronicled the festivity of the evening. Sue discreetly captured the highlights of the evening and FOSP has a memorable digital album of the first ever Lowell version of Dancing with the Stars. Sue is a pleasure to work with and I look forward to inviting her to photograph my own family in the near future. -- Helen King, Friends of Shedd Park
Dear Sue, Thank you so much for contributing your photography talents to help make the Spooky Silent Auction a success. The photographs, which will be given to volunteers, donors, and others who helped make the event reminders of a fun time at a great event.

This first-time event by New Hampshire Association for the Blind was a great success, and gives us a good base upon which to build the event in the future. Thanks again for the part you played in our success. It was a pleasure to work with you. - Sharon Cholette (donation of framed photograph brought in $150 for Silent Auction)
I am so thankful to have met Sue and have her as my child’s photographer. Sue’s laid back, patient and professional approach is so appreciated. The diversity of her work is amazing. Whatever I am looking for, from black and white, indoor or outdoor, casual photos to holiday family group shots, Sue has always delivered exceptional photos of incredible quality. She truly has a gift for capturing a child’s innocence, curiosity and beauty. She has the unique ability to capture the essence of a child from all ages and stages! Her dedication, professionalism and kind spirit make any photo shoot an enjoyable and pleasant experience. She has given me treasured gifts through her art, which will forever be cherished. -- Lisa J.
Sue’s custom cards are incredible! She can take photos of your home; garden, pets or the city you live in and transform them into a collage that ‘s all about you and yours. I have her create and design all my birthday cards and special occasion cards. She does collages for all seasons and you are sure to get a positive response from all those you send them to. Her note cards cover many areas of New England and speak to her love of nature and her natural talent. They are wonderful little gifts to share with friends and they always have a special and personal feel to them.

Perhaps the most exciting feature of her photography is her candid shots at parties and special occasions such as weddings or anniversaries. You hardly know she is there and she manages to capture the spirit of each moment. Having her come to your home to photograph your children or grandchildren is the best gift! In familiar surroundings, the children are relaxed and natural.

They love playing with her and she captures the very essence of who they are and their many expressions and antics. She makes everyone look beautiful. -- Pauline J.

"If you are worried that you aren't photogenic enough, don't be!  I asked Sue to take some photos of me on the advice of a friend since I hate the awkward atmosphere in a photo studio.  Sue made me feel at ease and even made me look good!!  I now recommend her to all my friends and family!" -- Emily M.
